Wadih El-Hage was associated with Al-Qaeda, helping the organization purchase a ship for $450,000, as well as a decommissioned American military passenger jet for about $200,000.[1]

He has since been arrested, convicted of terrorism conspiracy, and sentenced to life in prison. When he was arrested, he had a business card in his possession that had the German address of Mamoun Darkazanli.[2]
