American Airlines Flight 11
American Airlines Flight 11, en route from Boston's Logan International Airport to Los Angeles, was the first hijacked airplane. Mohamed Atta, the hijacker who was trained pilot, crashed the plane into the World Trade Center's north tower at 8:46 a.m.

United Airlines Flight 175

American Airlines Flight 77, en route from Washington Dulles International Airport to Los Angeles, was hijacked and crashed into the Pentagon.

United Airlines Flight 93 was en route from Newark Liberty International Airport to San Francisco, when it was hijacked by Ziad Jarrah and three other hijackers. The plane, presumably headed to some target in Washington, D.C., crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
